While it is possible to kill a Looker with your fist and not take damage
few films have actually demonstrated this technique.
However John Sumner <UTJohnS@aol.com> sends in a film of
Colony Ship For Sale, Cheap where the technique
is put to good use. The film is the first fist-only film of this level.
As expected with Vid films these days the raising of the seven pillars is
handled with panache. John also grabs all the ammo off this level even
the stuff in three octagonal rooms with the rising floors. Talk about
pushing the Vid boundaries.
You can get John's film here.

the main highlights of each level.
You can get it here (411K). :-)

Think it's impossible to reach that hidden Magnum on
Charon Doesn't Make Change under Vidmaster rules? Then think again.
John Sumner <UTJohnS@aol.com> reaches it in his Vid Tip film of this level.
Check the Charon Doesn't Make Change
page in the Vidmaster Tips & Tricks section for
details.

On the Marathon 2 level We're Everywhere there is
a small raised alcove (above the waterline). It's easy to miss since it's tucked
away in the far west of the map but it contains 14
Shotgun Cartridges (in two neat rows of seven each!). Up until now it was thought
impossible to reach under Vidmaster
rules. Now John Sumner <UTJohnS@aol.com> shows how it's possible to reach the
ammo. Check the We're Everywhere
page in the Vidmaster Tips & Tricks section for
details.

person to Vid Acme Station. Matthew is a friend of

who wants to be the enemy? You can grab Matthew's film pack

Marathon Infinity. Command-Option Begin New Game. Acme Station.
Smash three panels.Survive. Get off. Simple!
Greg Kirkpatrick, the creator of this level, when asked whether it was actually possible
to Vid this level replied:
With time however people did Vid it. In some cases pushing the boundaries -
fists only, no recharging etc. Now Daniel Gentry (aka Asmodeus) <gentry@virtu.sar.usf.edu>
goes one step further. Asmo's Best Acme is a
film of Acme Station completed with no hits and fists only.
Vidmastery has come along way since those early days of January '95 when Jason Jones
(Bungie Software) first posed the Marathon Vidmasters Challenge.
Vidmastery has indeed become an artform!
Just Vid It - With Style!

Daniel Gentry (aka Asmodeus) <gentry@virtu.sar.usf.edu> takes on the king of levels -
Acme Station - not once but twice. Daniel's approach involves not
getting the KKV-7 Flechette or opening the room with the 2X recharger.
How does he do it? Well check out his film pack Asmodeus Vids Acme.
