The cycle of sweat. Traxus miner toils and sweats. His sweat is collected in Traxus containers and processed into bottles of REFRESH-U 100% ORGANIC. Miner drinks. The cycle continues.
This cycle was described on Page 10. MINING IMPLICITLY DRIVES AUTOPHAGY. Self-eating.
This page was one of two pages that were not included in the original PDF version of hearoursilence_4673c.pdf . The original PDF only contained 35 of the 37 images available on the website at hearoursilence.com/4673c.
Why were these pages not included in the original PDF? A mistake or something more?
Well one theory is that they contained information about events not yet released in other parts of the Marathon ARG. Bungie gated the ARG to ensure that events played out in a controlled 'chronological' manner.
For example, you could not gain access to password protected parts of either Sekiguchi Genetics and Traxus Global until the CyberAcme Cards puzzle was solved and the Somewhere In The Heavens - ViDoc was released.
In addition, the UESC website would not display its login page until some six hours after the release of the ViDoc and even then you couldn't access the most important part without another password.
However the 'gated' theory doesn't really stack up so well as it was possible to download the missing images from the MIDA website if you knew where to look for them in the source code or if you took the trouble to take screenshots of the pages as they displayed.
However, reading these pages at this stage in the Marathon ARG is like finding stray jigsaw puzzle pieces down the back of a couch and wondering what they make?

The reference to TRAX IS FOUR, LION, VULTURE, SERPENT and GOAT is odd. These may be codes. Why not try them somewhere?
The word UNTELLIGENCE also appears in the MIDA grafitti at the Venice Art Walls in the form of ARTIFCICIAL UNTELLIGENCE. Spelling isn't the best in MIDA apparently.

JOV may be a reference to the Jovian system, the collective term used to describe the 95 moons orbiting Jupiter. What are Traxus doing out there? Interesting to note that in the Stanley Kubrick film 2001: A Space Odyssey another alien monolith is located in orbit around Jupiter.
Reference to long haul trips 300 years, 100 years, ?? years or ? years even (turns out to be 4 years see below )
BIGGOV = UESC have been training people at 1.5 artificial gravity?
2-1=M is a reference to the Marathon which was one of the two moons (2-1) taken by the UESC. The Marathon went to Tau Ceti.

JOLI ROUGE is French for 'Pretty Red'. It was also the nickname the French gave to the Welsh pirate Bartholomew Roberts as he wore a red coat. His ship flew a flag with a skeleton on a black background. The name 'Joli Rouge' was corrupted into 'Jolly Roger' and came to mean the flag rather than the person.

HAFH = Home Away From Home.
ROANOKE is a reference to Roanoke Colony also known as the "Lost Colony". Founded in 1585 on Roanoke Island, off the coast of what is now North Carolina, the colony was the first permanent English settlement in North America (the New World). In late 1587 the then governor of the colony John White returned to England for supplies. Due to the Anglo-Spanish War his return to the colony was delayed until August 1590. On his return all 100+ colonists were found to have disappeared under unknown circumstances. The word "CROATOAN" was found carved into the colony stockade. The colony has since been known as the "Lost Colony" and the fate of the colonists remains a mystery to this day.
The OLD GUARD is reference to the original MIDA (25th century MIDA) and their plans for the Marathon. Hinted at in the original game but never developed. Did they achieved (at Tau Ceti) what they couldn't on Mars?
IHABFAT = I Have A Bad Feeling About This. Star Wars reference.
The phrase JUST AS MANY COFFINS AS THERE ARE TOMBSTONES refers to the number of people being small enough not to require mass graves. Everyone gets a coffin and a tombstone.

The caricatures look like representations of the Vulture, Serpent and Lion. Not seeing the Goat. Unless the others are the Goats?
