MIDA

THE LOST CHILD is a reference to Deimos, one of two Martian moons. Between 2406-2472 Deimos was hollowed out and converted into a colony ship. Deimos was renamed the UESC Marathon and departed for Tau Ceti on November 16, 2472.

The ONLY CHILD is a reference to Phobos, the second (and now only) Martian moon.

One interpretation of the image is that Demios (The Lost Child) is represented by the bleeding wound in Mars itself having been ripped out/away. Blood flows from the wound forming a gory likeness of the Marathon symbol.

A similar rendition appears in the MIDA graffiti at the Venice Art Walls (Venice Beach, Los Angeles).

Note the Runner in the above graffiti. Whatever the Runner had in their hand has been blacked out.

Page 26 is a second piece of artwork that also appears in the MIDA graffiti at the Venice Art Walls (Venice Beach, Los Angeles).

One interpretation of the digital eye is that it represents the constant surveillance the population are placed under by the authorities. A common theme in MIDA's ezine. Another interpretation is that it represents the artificial life of clones.

Text on this page reads:

RISE RISE RISE
STARS AND BEY
(OND)

The six stick figures in the centre are cipher characters in the Dancing Men cipher. The cipher was created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in 1903 in the Sherlock Holmes short story The Adventure of the Dancing Men.

The ciphertext decodes to RESIST .

This artwork also appears in the MIDA graffiti at the Venice Art Walls (Venice Beach, Los Angeles).

However, the Dancing Men cipher does not appear in the MIDA graffiti at the Venice Art Walls.

The vertical binary string is:

01010101010101110101010101010101010100101001   24

It appears again on Page 30 (see below).

The text  M x x A  is MIDA where the middle two letters are substituted by a representation  (x)  of the MIDA logo.

The four vertical symbols in the top right of the page are odd and appear out of place. We will see two of them later when we gain access to the UESC website.

It may be MIDA's way of saying we have hacked into the UESC and have seen.

CHILDREN OF THE COMFORT CAGE appears again along with caricatures of children with inane smiley faces.

Three binary strings of different length appear on this page:

   10101010101110101010101001101010100101001   22
      01010101110101010101001101010100101001   23
01010101010101110101010101010101010100101001   24

The last string (#24) is the same as the one on page 28 above.

Each string ends with the same 15 bit sequence.

101010100101001

Each string also contains the same 21 bit sequence.

010101011101010101010

Indeed all three binary strings might have been originally identical if not for one small bit flip (in green below).

   10101010101110101010101001101010100101001   22
      01010101110101010101001101010100101001   23
01010101010101110101010101010101010100101001   24

The significance of this is unclear nor does the binary decode to anything meaningful (so far). Watch this space.
