Adaption by Blayne S. And Justin V. | ||
Their history was very much like Reehath's own. The Seefit and Human past of wars and sweeping change were almost identical. The Seefit and Humans were very much alike before the pfhor had captured the Seefit. Reehath tried to quiet his thoughts before the Controller could see it. Just as Reehath was trying to calm his mind and refocus on his work, something happened that shocked Reehath to the very core. He would have dropped his mouth in disbelief if he had one. The voices of the pfhor, the voices that never stopped and kept a constant watch on what Reehath did and thought, had stopped. There was nothing but silence in his head. He had never known a time that there were not voices of the pfhor in his head, giving him orders. Reehath was very scared; the terror of being completely alone and of such sudden unbelievable change gripped him tightly. What would he do now that the pfhor's voices had left him? He stayed rooted to the spot, frozen by his chaotic feelings and fears. |
