I was looking through one of the Marathon guides, from IMG cd-rom, and it
indicated that there was a "secret" level, with new, nastier hulks on
steroids, in the game. I was excited, except:

Where the Hell is it?!?!?

Does it even exist, and if it does, how do you get to it? I mean, it doesn't
even show up on the map editors that I have, so is it hidden in some way, or
was it a map created by someone else that got mistaken for being part of the
actual game?

Thanks for any answers

It was a bad joke.

What? "A Good Way To Die..." was a bad joke? A lot of people thought
that was entertaining. Of course... there were others who didn't
find it so entertaining...

All very interesting, but... the original question was, can the level
be reached? ;) Can it, or is it just something embedded in the code
for people to find and muse over?

Unfortunately, that is a hoax put on by the person that made the program
you used. We find this quite annoying, not only because it was done with
malicious intent, but because innocent bystanders like yourself keep
asking about it. The 'author' suggested that he could remedy the situation
by actually making the level. We agreed that this would tend to make us
less annoyed with him, but he hasn't actually submitted the level (which
would, of course, have to include the 'hulks on steroids'). So, when
he actually does do the work he said he would, I'll forgive him for wasting
all of our time.

Sincerely,
                        Tony
