I just got Pathways into Darkness (demo) from sumex -- it's AMAZING!
The graphics are very smooth on a IIfx, filling roughly 1/3 of the
screen. On a Centris or Quadra, this game should be nothing short of
spectacular. Note that the graphics can be resized to any size depending
on your preference.

The way that the view emerges out of the darkness is excellent. It's
also enough to get your pulse pounding. I was running backward down
a hall, firing at a Headless while dodging green goo by shifting left
and right. The headless had no problem whipping around a corner on
its skinny legs and doing me in.

I've only played it for 10 minutes, but I'm hooked. The graphics are crisp,
sharp and detailed. Of course, it gets blocky when you get up close, but
not too blocky.

My only request: recompile for PowerPC. If so, I might never be seen
in public again.

Size: about 950K compressed. Requirements: 256 colours, 2 MB ram free,
system 6.05 or higher. (runs in a 2048K partition).

Goodies: with System 7.0 or higher and Sound Manager 3.0, active
panning stereo sound is supported!! Whip out those headphones or
speakers.

'nuf said. get it.

Sean

Question: Where can I get my hands on Sound Manager 3.0? I heard that
it comes with Quicktime 1.6, but I didn't find them bundled together at
ftp.apple.com.

Any info would be appreciated.

YES! This has got to be the best Macintosh game ever!

Thank you Bungee software! When this comes out, everyone must go BUY a
copy of this...support great game developers like this!

My 5 cents worth...

Get it, it's UNBELIEVABLE (so smooth on my quadra.. but graphics are
adjustable also for slower machines..
