The other format does not include DirectX and is a smaller download. Note that the installer will abort installation if DirectX is not found on your system. The preview includes 3 solo/cooperative play levels and one network play level, as well as cooperative and head-to-head play over modem or network (IPX or local TCP). My feelings exactly. Why couldn't they include modem support in the Mac version? Technical reasons or was it simply to boost sales of ARA and/or NetLink Remote? -- Rishi Gupta: risgupta@cyberus.ca Visit my Mac Wing Commander IV Page at http://www.cyberus.ca/~risgupta/macwciv (last updated July 21) Subject: Re: Marathon 2 for win95 lets modem play! I have a note from Bungie plainly stating they are going to update Marathon 2, and I'm holding them to it. I personally don't plan on buying any further Bungie products until they update Marathon 2 for the Mac. There are just too many other game software manufacturers that I need to be loyal to a company that blatently lies to me. --------------------------------------------------------- Bob Van Burkleo rpvb3@sprynet.com --------------------------------------------------------- Subject: Re: Marathon 2 for win95 lets modem play!
