Bungie saved the films for two matches: 1) The 3-round 1-on-1 final match (which was good BTW, even though the wrong person (IMO) won... =) ) 2) The 5-person 3-guys-from-Bungie-including-Jason-and-the-two-finalists game. Tuncer Deniz (IMG) had said the films would appear on the Feb. '95 IMG CD ROM, but maybe the folks at Bungie will be nice enough to post them to the 'net... -- This is a test. This is only a test. I take exception to your remark that the wrong person won, IYO since I was the winner of the Marathon tournament. I easily outclassed virtually the entire field there. Even in finals, I rocked the guy who I was playing against. I was laughing when in the second round of the three round 1-1 final match when the alien was the first thing to hurt me after I killed the guy a couple times. That second final did not have any high caliber people in it. In my opinion, the three people in the tournament who knew what they were doing were myself, CYBERNATOR, JohnB, and Gustavv. I think that when the films come out they will show that I fairly won. Only in the third round, after I had gone up by a difference of EIGHTEEN did I not play my usual style, opting instead to play it safe. Its too bad that Bungie didn't save the first game of the first semi-final match because that was the game in which I played my best in. But watching the match I played against the Bungie people would be great because that was the most fun I've ever had in a match since it was done purely for the enjoyment of the game and not competition. I think that once the ARA patch is out, this guy will have a lot of offers eh? Evryone just drop on in and rib Mr. Garrison a little, 'cuz he deserves it. Duly noted. One can get fired up pretty easily when someone brags from a position they won dishonestly. Garrison did apologize, however hamhandedly, and I should be repsectful of his intentions. Thanks for the reality-check. However, should cybernator want to play me when the ara patch comes out, I will be happy to pay for the call. I have an 8100 with ARA server. JohnB
