The latest developements in the world have been slowly trickling into the office bringing renewed calls for "Armaggedon in our lifetimes." The fossil fish on my desk has been helping to keep all of us up late at night with friendly reminders of the ease with which the whole planet might come rapidly and unwittingly to the brink of catastrophic planet wide mass extinction.

For those of you who have been following the Year Two Thousand problem, don't worry - Duality will be completely Y2k compliant, although if you try to play for longer than four years at a time, you might overflow a few buffers.

Well, we are trying to get Duality done before world annihilation, and it's coming along fabulously. After E3 we switched over to 16 bit graphics and we've recently gone farther with 16-bit lightmaps, which allow us to do any shade of colored lighting that we desire.
