In the latest issue of the MacZone Catalog, besides showing *tons* of
stuff that's not released yet, they have an "add" for Marathon on CD.
Since I haven't heard anything about this here, I'm assuming that this
too is not out yet.

But...

Anyone know what sort of enhancements the CD will have over the disk
version? Why should I splurge and re-purchase a game that I already
own?

Thanks,

Curt

I believe it has a physics and map editor included. I saw it at one
of the WWW shopping sites....it had a full description of it. If
you are interested, it iwas at http://www.cybout.com.

I can tell you that there will be no improvements over the original game
in the CD version. What will be added are a bunch of the shareware
utilities for modifying Marathon and perhaps some of the level/sound/
image files available on the Internet.

This is all according to the PR director who I've talked to.

Darryl,

If you are not expecting it in until Tuesday then you are not the first to have it.
A local Babbages had Marathon CD in stock on Monday the 8th.
