And, which location are they at? (Bayside or WTC?) How is it? -Paul Hagstrom hagstrom@mit.edu From: mek@acs.bu.edu (Mark E. Kern) Newsgroups: comp.sys.mac.games Subject: Re: Marathon at Macworld? They were taking priority orders at the show. If you ordered from them at the show, you are supposed to get the first copies shipped. Marathon looked absolutely incredible!!! And fast, fast, fast! They also had a headmounted display for Marathon VR (not true stereoscopic, but they are working on it). Marathon is going to take the Mac world by storm. The graphics are great, and the play is action oriented (carnage oriented was the term, I believe). -- = pdcmarkus@aol.com = mek@acs.bu = simms@phantom.com = Looking for old Pixar hardware and U.S. Acorn BBC Rev B machines From: eugenius@bu.edu (Eugene Hui) Newsgroups: comp.sys.mac.games Subject: Re: Marathon at Macworld? Well, I spoke to the president of Bungie (or at least that's what his badge said). He sold me a Marathon t-shirt that said "don't make me kick your ass" or something in the back (the shirt's downstairs right now) and told me that the game's ready to be shipped next week. Let's hope he's got the final word on it. _______________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ e u g e n i u s ___________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________ Eugene E.
