The new Bungie Marathon 2 ad for Windows has a guy being blown by his
computer monitor. Check it out, cause it's pretty obvious....

Um, do you mean "blown away" or just "blown"? One would make sense, the
other is just obscene. I hope Bungie didn't stoop that low just to sell a
game.

I also saw an ad that was the first chapter screen of Marathon 2 except
they totally changed the guy's helmet around. It looks kind of odd...

Wow! Maybe I will look into Windows more seriously - 'cause the Mac OS
certainly doesn't include that option. Start me up.

Uh, we never did. We just thought it was a rather disturbed individual
playing the game. A guy so obsessed with the game that boring things like
clothing, hygeine and other people become unimportant.

This whole thread says more about you than it does about us.

Someone asked what magazine the ad was in. I believe I saw it in Computer
Gaming World, maybe not the latest issue: It had that new game by id on
the cover.. let's see.. what was the name.. not very memorable I guess...q
something...anyway, the cover was sort of a lime green color.

Hope that helps.

I was in a bookstore, so I have no idea as to the title of the
magazine. The ad can't be that rare, though.
I believe it was on the right page (as in, not the left)...
