Scripts - MML
Marathon Mark-up Language (MML) scripts are used in Aleph One to passively modify the behaviour and appearance of monsters and objects, e.g., 3D appearance, presence of fog. Unlike Lua, the proporties are fixed within each map and are not altered by player interaction, e.g. if fog is activated then it is present everywhere on the map and can't be "switched off".
MML editting can be carried out as a plain text file or using a menu-based interface such as Cranberry. Though many have been written they are chiefly physics tweaks, created to provide an "atmosphere" within a specific map.
With the closure of the Fileball archive and the Cranberry site I have transferred their scripts here. Please note that while they have been written for free use they are not Orphanage donations.
